Instead of mambers on the cards, there were short hand characters, and in place of corn, candy popcorn was used-- and afterwards eaten I Jokes written in shorthand were put on the board, Ruth Merchant was the final inter preter ! Now that the time is almost here, their joy is even greater. The first group will go March 27, and the second group on the first Monday in April, The students will have the privilege of visiting the plant of The Asheville Citizen-Times and seeing the evening paper in the process of being published. Other business organizations to be visited have not yet been decided upon. Last year an enjoyable trip was taken to Asheville by the Commercial Department. The girls found the results of the trip very helpful and informing, V/e hope that even a greater benefit will be derived from the trip of this year. All the members are urged to go.
