Flittner, formerly of the Fourth Engineers and the man who gave he Caduceus its personality by his artistic skill. Lieutenant Flittner was a patient In the hospital for several weeks as the result of his feet being crushed by the cave-in of a dug-out, down in the camp, in February. Because of the injuries to his feet and because of his ardor to be in actioh he expects to be transferred to the cavalry. He is in New York city , at this time and is not expected back to Camp Greene, although he has promised to return a sample of his work to The Caduceus. Flittner is a graduate of St. Igna tius Academy of San Francisco. He has been connected with The San Francisco Chronicle and also The Bul letin as a cartoonisi.
