Branch is in charge of the department. His duties are to acquaint the soldiers with the priviledge of the Civilian Relief Work; to follow up all letters address- ed to the Red Cross about soldiers; to find out what family worries are on the heart of the men, and get the home chapters to relieve the need- to find out why allotments are de-\ layed get them moving. A very pleasing Home Hour was given at the “Y” Sunday afternoon under the auspices of the Reiley Sun day school class of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, and led by Mr. J. K. Kirkpatrick. The pool tournament at the K of C buiWing started last Wednesday night. The first two to play were John Landers of the Medical Sunnlv and W. L. Kenney of the ■ Casual Camp. u ®, Sbme was very interesting, both players keeping even through- out th® game. Both men were rated at 35 giving them a 15 ball handi cap on the scratch men who are rat ed at 50 balls. Landers won the game by the margin of one ball the score being 35 to 34. There are thirty two entries in the tournament and the mnners of each pair plays the winner of another pair Thus making it a sort of elimination contest. The first prize will be a box of cigars and the second prize one hun dred cigarettes. The names of the pliers are posted in the building and the games can-be played at any time. Ihe sooner the tournament is finished the quicked we can start an other one. SNAPPY FILMS.
