The Q. M. C. would call attention
to the article that appeared on Offi
cer’s page of the Caduceus, issue of
September 7th, 1918, in which is stat
ed, “Many of the officers who have
been enjoying horse back rides have
been compelled to turn in their
horses.” Someway to replace them at
once should be provided. Exercise is
one thing that an officer in a base
hospital does not get enough of, and
the outside of a horse is sure good
enough for a man.”
The Q. M. C. takes issue with the
statement that any. of the officers
have been/compelled to turn in their
horses and that_ horses cannot be ob
tained, but does not imply that it ever
has or will obtain same.
“Where there’s a will there’s a way,"
and vTOuld suggest that the horse back
enthusiast increase the membership of
Maj. Lahey’s setting up exercise class
by applying; for membership in same.
