MASONS ORGANIZE
TO BUILD SHORTLY AT LIBERTY
PARK.
As a result of the meeting of the
camp Greene Masons held at the den
tal Infirmary last Thursday evening,
the club has been organized and tem
porary officers elected.
Colonel William Kent, former camp
commander, called the meeting to or
der and the largest gathering of mil
itary masons ever assembled in North
CAI,PI. U. G. tvERHARDT,
Carolina was in session. The commit
tee on selecting a site reported that
one con'd be secured for almost noth
ing at Liberty Park and it was decided
to build as soon as was practical and
the necessary funds had 'been secured.
It is iilanned to have the structure one
or two stories with a Masonic club
on the lower floor and a military lodge
on the sfecond.
The membership committee report
ed that there were about 400 Masons
