OPEN NEW HOUSE.
The contemplated hostess house for
colored soldiers and their friends at
Camp No. 1 was successfully launch
ed on its career the early part of the
past week and already the boys are
beginning to take advantage of the
opportunities offered for meeting their
friends and relatives at this point.
Officials of the Y. W. C. A. spent
many hours in preparing for the op
ening and success rewarded them for
their time and trouble. The new build
ing is under the supervision of Mrs.
Pirnie the hostess of the main hous?
at Liberty Park.
