Army Base Hospital, Camp Greene because the women pictured above are here. They are the graduate Army nurses of the hospital and it is their care which sooths the pain of those who are brought to us for healing. On the step at the side of Miss Parish is “Frazzles” the french poodle which makes the rounds of the wards with the Chief Nurse. 1 HERE AGAIN RETURN TO DUTY DANCING CLASS Private 1st class Raymond DuQuette has returned from his furlough and may be seen most any time about the hospifal and may be found en gaged in labor occasionally. NARROW ESCAPE A well known and popular Sergeant of the Base Hospital narrowly escaped serious injury if not death, when on his visit to the Poultry Show in Char lotte, on Thursday, when he approach ed the cage of a large and vicious Bel gian Hare. This animal, no doubt infuriated by the presence of this Hoosier literary man, sprung furiously against the bars of the cage, and only by the timely efforts of the Sergeant’s friends was he dragged away to safety. The dancing class conducted by Mrs. Baker at the Soldier’s club will be held on Saturday afternoon at three o’clock this week and hereafter the class will meet on Saturday Instead of Tuesday evening.
