STUDENT NURSES AT PLAY in 1.' ifJS’ A BIT OF ACTION IN A. VOLLEY BALL GAME AT THE U. S. ARMY BASE HOSPITAL, CAMP GREENE. An excellent action picture of a scrimmage in a volley ball game between two groups of student mftses at the U. S. Army Base Hospital, Camp Greene, is the above photograph taken a few days ago. The volley ball, towards which the nurses at the left of the picture are straining their efforts, may be seen at the upper left hand corner of the photograph. Tenseness of Y. M. C. A. Athletic Director Bergeman, who is refereeing the game, is well brought out in the picture. Director Bergeman, who has acted as promoter for the athletic activities of the probationers, has commented most favorably on the spirit in which the student nxirses have entered into their games. “Their abilities to play well must have some bearing upon their success in learning the lessons of the ward,” -Is a statement by Bergeman, who never fails to see a benefit in the spirit of play.
