S P 0 EDWIN KOOl SNOWDEN HUTCHINSON IS ELECTED BASEBALL MANAGER At a meeting of the students inter ested in baseball Thursday afternoon Snowden Hutchison was elected man ager and Kearney Crissman assistant manager and some plans formulated for the 1922 high school season. It is believed now from the way things are blooming that old H. P* H- going to have the best baseball team this spring that has represented her in some time. , 4. We are going to have plenty 01 material this year out of the school to fornj, a good team. Of course we lost some good players last year but we have others to take their places. Coaching is going to be in the hands of Mr. , Knight, who is to have the loyal support of Messrs. Johnston and Owens. Mr. Knight is perfectly familiar with baseball and if the team will work this spring as we know they are to we will make others sit up and take notice. Although a good many inembers of last year’s team are still with us members are urged to come out and everyone who can play stands a chance. Besides, if we are to have a good first team we must have a good second team to give them practice. From now on all of us want to talk and think baseball (not forgetting basketball) until school stops. We want to get an early start and tvin some games this spring. We can and we will do this for we are not handi capped as we have been in basketball, for baseball is an outdoor sport.
