Bible Quiz — Favetteville Club. 3. Poem—Fayetteville Club. 4. Pantomime—“Lord’s Prayer,” Rich Square Club. 5. Speech Chorus — Girls of State Training School, Kin ston. This number included Books of Bible both forward and back ward and many other Biblical facts. The three new clubs, coming in as a result of the Federation meet ing in the Northeastern part of the state, were presented and wel comed. The girls were thanked for presentations and encouraged to continue developing into outstand ing women. It was pointed out that they are the “Federation” of tomoiTow. Jr. Organizer Visits Selma I have just returned from Selma as the guest of “The Teen Top” of Selma, N. C. I was the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Albright and their beautiful teen-age daugh ter. This being my first invitation from a club and my first trip, I hope you will enjoy this trip with me. I Teenagers Club [ T—means the time we share to- I gether, and the things we do. I E—means we are ever thankful for j what we have. I E—means we have an effort to go I ahead. N—means the neat and nice things we observe. A—means the aid we give to one another who are helpless. G—means the good deeds we do day by day. E—means the entertainment we bring to others. R —means we are ready and pre pared to conquer the task we have to do. S—means we are seen more at work than heard. C—means that we are cooperative in all we do. L—means we lean closer together than apart. U—means we do the things that will be uttered throughout the day. B—means we are striving for the best and soon the better wiU come. Now put them all together. Now what do they spell—of course. Teen agers Club. —Barbara J. Williams Selma, N. C. 1 arrived in Selma noon Monday, July 21, and went to the beautiful home of the Albrights, where I was welcomed by the family and the State Junior President, Miss Donna Daniells, of Wilson. Mrs. Albright is the sponsor of the Teen Tops, so we had a long talk about the things that would help all Jun ior Clubs. We had a delightful eve ning, even if it was hot. Then came Tuesday and the club met on the lawn among flowers of all kinds. I tried as best I could to tell them about things that would help them and what was expected of them as young ladies. After I finished, each young lady asked at least one question about club work. Federation I was deeply happy and highly honored to become president of the Junior Federation. Along with my joy. I also felt overwhelmingly proud receiving the presidency, which I’m sure was the idol of every eligible girl attending the Federation. I realize the task which is ahead of me and with your full coopera tion we are hoping to make this year a banner year. I am looking forward to seeing aU of the girls in the eastern dis trict in Elizabeth City in March of ’59. There we wiU make plans for the State Federation. I am hoping in the near future that I will hear from all the presi dents of various clubs throughout the state.
