Federation of Negro Women’s Clubs voted to send gift-wrapped birthday gifts and cards to each student in the four Training Schools of the state. The students have expressed deep appreciation for this interest from you. They say that it has brought a great deal of sunshine into their lives. There have been an average of 65 birthdays each month for the last five months. This means that each club will be asked to send gifts to nine or ten students during the year. Now that your club is making plans for the year, won’t you include birthday gifts for these worthy students? If your club doesn’t meet during the summer months, please, make arrangements to take care of the gifts at this time. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Miss W. R.
