THE HIGH POINT SCOUT Carelessness During Prosperity. Have you ever noticed that a great number of people are more careless and wicked when they are having life easy, when they are making a good salary, when they have plenty of everything, when their whole You can hear a man curse and swear family has good health? It is true, more when every thing is prosperous than he does when one of his family is sick or some other misfortune overtakes him. He will forget God when everything is going along smoothly. Let him yet in a close place and he begins to beg God’s tender and loving care. Let us not forget to praise and thank God for the good things He has permitted us to have.
