The three>man astronaat crew of the first Skylab mission scheduled for April 30, 1973 launch, held a news briefing recently which included a tour of the Skylab mockup tnining area at the Houston Manned Spacecraft Center. The crew is (left-to'right): Charles "Pete” Conrad; commander for the mission; Joe Kerwin, and Paul Weitz. The mission will last 28 days and will be in Earth orbit.
