'Through the years this has been a time for classmates and old friends to spend together reminiscing those “good ole schools days.” Last year with 255 present, this was the l^^st attendance in many, many years and it seems this year may be another record breaking year. Several classes are making special plans for class reunions at this time, particularly the classes of 1934, 1944, 1954 and 1964. The first graduating class of Farm Life High School was in 1916 with six graduates. The last graduating class was in 19'iii|g) with 73 graduates. At this time Farm Life School became a^^ Elementary School with the opening of the new West Craven High School. For several years now, the first class represented at the alumni has been the class of 1920 represented by Mr. Donald Witherington. The second class represented is 1921 being represented by his wife, Ruth McLawhorn Witherington. All former principals of Farm Life High School are invited to be guests of the alumni each year. Mr. C.A. Dees, who was principal in 1936, 1937, and 1938 has attended for several years and plans to be here again this year. Perhaps other former principals will be attending also. All former graduates and those who attended Farm Life High School but graduated from another school, are invited to attend and bring a guest with them. Admission to be banquet is $4.00 per person. Gray Lancaster, Jr., President of the Association this year, urges all alumni to plan to attend this year and enjoy seeing your classmates.
