Sharing Good News The good news from the Word of God for this week comes from John 6:35. Jesus Christ said, “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger: and he that believeth in me shall never thirst. Our Lord and Savior is not talking about bread made from flour, milk and shortening that are used to feed hungry souls. The kind of bread that gives eternal life; a bread that satisfies a hungry soul bread that gives eternal life: a bread that satisfies a hungry soul seeking after righteousness, that is not made by the hands of man. This is not bread that will become stale, moldy and decays; but a bread that is ever fresh, pure, sweet, and is a living vibrant source of iife. Jesus Christ is the water of life, that whosoever drinks of this water will never thirst again. He tells us in Rev. 22 to let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. The price has already been paid for this divine bread and water offered freely to everyone. Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of our Heavenly Father, gave his body to be crucified, died and shed his life’s blood for our sins. He paid the price with his life so we could have eternal life through him. The great table is spread and Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior sits at the head of this table. He has invited many guests. Won’t you come and dine with Him today? He is waiting for you. Only He can satisfy your hungry and thirsty soul. Chapman’s Chapel Chapman’s Chapel will render service at Joe’s Branch F.W.B.
