Sigmas and Mus
Battle
Wednesday, January 5, after a
vacation that was too short, the
Sigmas and Mus met to play their
second basketball game. The Sig
mas took the first game away from
the Mus in fine style by beating
them by more than ten points.
AVednesday, however, the Mus
were out to win. A\ hen the game
first started, it seemed the Sigmas
would w'in again. They led the Mus
by eight or more j)oints until half
time It was time for a little Mu
action, and that’s exactly what we
got! The Mus were able to catch
up and pass the Siy?nas by more
than fourteen points. But the Sig
mas, not willing to give up, fought
to the bitter end, and wore almost
able to close the gap. AATen the
final whistle blew, the score was 44
to 43 and the hard-played game
was given to the Mus.
