Beacon And Circle
Hostess Christmas Party
The Beacon and the Circle held
their annual Christmas party Mon
day night in Smedes Parlor. The
Parlor was decorated with a large
Christmas Tree, and the clubs served
punch and homemade cookies. The
crowd was entertained by Betty Ann
Queen who read Christmas stories
while waiting for Santa Claus. Santa
finally arrived with all his bells on
and dispersed candy canes. He settled
himself into a comfortable chair and
read The Night Before Christmas.
After Santa Claus departed, the Cold
Cuts took over the program. They
sang several Christmas songs plus a
few from their usual repertoire. At
the end of the party, Pam DeVere
presented gifts to Miss “R”, Mr. Hob-
good, and Dr. Pisani on behalf of
the student body.
