There are a number of ministerial students from North Carolina at the Seminary and at Wake Eorest who desire to spend vacation in the State either in protracted meeting work er as supplies for pastors during their vacation. The Board instructed the Corres ponding Secretary to communicate with the pastors of the State and put them in correspondence with minis terial students if they desire to effect an arrangement with them for sum mer woik. In compliance with the instruction of the Board, I take this method of saying to the pastors that I will be pleased to put them in cor respondence with the North Carolina brethren who are now at the Semina ry or at W ake Forest. Any pastor who wishes a supply or would like the service of one of these young brethren in protracted meeting work, will please let me hear as soon as possible. The schools will close in a few weeks and ministerial students wish to make their arrangements be fore they leave school. Livingston Johnson. Wi'e publish the above article of Bro. Johnson’s with the desire that some of our Mountain pastors will take advantage of the opportunity to secure the service of some of these young minis^ters who are preparing themselves for tae ministerial work. It would be an advantage to our mountain people and a pleasure to the young brethren for some of them to spend the summer with us in protracted meetings. of present laws.
