DEATH OF MRS. REBECCA JANE HOWARD. OUR APPOINTMENTS FOR 1915-1916. Mrs. Rebecca Jane Howard died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Smith, near Silver Springs, September 27, at the age of 78 years, 2 months and 6 days. At the age of 17 she was married to J. T. Howard, who died about 22 years ago. To this union there were born ten chil dren, seven boys and 3 girls. Sister Howard joined the Rocky River Springs church at the age of fourteen and about fifteen years ago she brought her membership to Silver Springs, where she remained a consistent" and consecrated member till death. Her friends testify that she v;as a great lover of her church and a faithful, consecrated Christian. She remarked to a friend a short time ago that she professed religion and Joined the church at about the age of fourteen and still held to thsft hope. A splendid testi mony, 64 years long, to the sufficiency of God’s grace. 'Ihe funeral services were held from the Silver Springs church, September 28, by her pastor in the presence of a large con gregation and interment was made in the Silver Springs cemetery.
