Grants
From Page 10, Col. 4
B. Datz and Richard Ed-
mundson of Sears Roebuck
recently presented Father John
Bradley, President of Belmont
Abbey College, a $1,000 grant,
unrestricted and to be used as
the College deems necessary.
Belmont Abbey College is one of
only a few Charlotte area
colleges to receive a Sears -
Roebuck Foundation grant.
Nationally there are 1,000
private accredited two and four
year institutions across the
country which are sharing in
$1,500,000 in Sears Foundation
funds.
From The
Development Office
Father Bradley, President of
the College, in this annual letter
to Alumni and other friends, has
emphasized the need for all to
support the Abbey during these
trying times. The response to his
optimistic outlook on the future
of the College has been very
encouraging.
