Total giving for the ’73 - ’74 year increased by nearly 24 percent over the previous year. The Annual Fund (unrestricted) was up almost 5percent; Student Aid up 15 percent; support for Athletics up 165 percent; the Building Fund increased from the prior year level of $4000.00 because of appeals for building remodeling. Other categories were down somewhat. 2. Alumni contributions came from 222 alumni (an 18 percent decrease from last year) for a total amount down 24 percent from the previous level.
