HolUngshead, a junior Political Science Major at Belmont Abbey College, has been selected for a legislative internship with Representative L.A. “Skip” Bafalis of his home district, the tenth congressional district of Florida. Representative Bafalis is assigned to the powerful House Ways and Means Committee. This program is the first such Internship implemented at Belmont Abbey College. It will consist of a major research project in legislative process concerning the 1975 tax reform bill. “The nature of this particular bill provides a unique op portunity to examine the progress of a bill from start to finish in the period of one five-month internship,” comments ,Dr. Robert Jones, chairman of the Political Science Department at Belmont Abbey. HolUngshead of 1104 Taylor Lane, Lehigh Acres, Florida, and is a native of Zanesville, Ohio. He is a 1972 graduate of Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, Florida, where he was senior class President and was listed in “Who’s Who In American High Schools.” During his first five semesters at Belmont Abbey, Greg has been named to the dean’s list four times and has maintained a quality point average of 2.39 on a 3-point scale. In 1974, Greg was appointed Belmont Abbey College’s representative to the National Symposium For The Study Of The Presidency. He is a member of Pi Gamma Mu National Social Science Honor Frater nity.
