It was great to see Chuck Muller when he stopped by for a visit on February 16. Chuck is computer systems sales specialist with Ford, and he and Fran live in Louisville where Fran is working on her Master’s in education media. Fran was the guiding light for the Wives Auxiliary here on campus when we organized the Abbey wives during the 1950’s. Let me hear from some of you. Would you like to have a reunion? ’58-James Parnell is a sales engineer with U.S. Gypsum and lives in Charlotte. Congratulations to Charles Bridges, who has been appointed division vice president of Scott Pajjer Co. to manage con sumer products sales for its Packaged Products Divi sion. He and Helen and their two children live in 'Newton Square, Pa. ’59-Morco Perez is a merchant in Marion, N.C. Charles Richardson is a broker in Middletown, N.J. ’60—Wriaton Thompson is district operations manager of J.C. Penney Co. in Richmond. ’61-Congratulations to Anne and Steve Hodulik on the arrival of their first daughter, Mary Anne, on Christmas Day. They have three boys. Father John baptized Mary Anne on February 10 in Cincinnati, where Steve is district sales manager for Blue Bell. John Hannan visited the Abbey in February. (Mickey) Robbins has been with the Charlotte Police Department for twelve years. Murphy is now living in Derttshire, Scotland, where he teaches in the Taymouth Castle School and is the school’s soccer coach. Thanks for your letter, Carlos de Torres, telling me that since last July you have been employed by the Georgia' Regional Hospital in Atlanta as director of the Fulton County program serving the City of Atlanta. Carlos is responsible for the management, supervi sion and programming for two adult psychiatric units and finds the work very challenging. He was previously with the Durham (N.C.) Mental Health Center, and now lives in Atlanta. Dennis Smith stopped by to say hello on March 30. He is sales representative for Threads, U.S.A., a division of Ti- Caro, Inc. in Gastonia, and he and his wife Chelsie and young son Morgan Joseph live in Cramerton. Tim is a cap tain in the Army and was on his way back to Fort Bliss, Tx., from Charlottesville, Va., where he at tended the Judge Advocate General’s School for the law of war workshop. Stan join ed the Navy directly after graduation, married Pat Bennett (Mercy School of Nursing, Charlotte, 72) af ter boot camp at Bainbridge; she joined him in New London, Conn, in mid-72, where he was in training for submarine duty. He was commission ed an Ensign in June *73, served aboard the .USS Leahy, (CE-16) for three years and two J months making various port cdls throughout Newport, R.I., where he is now teaching warfare ■skills to newly commissioned officers. Stan has the rank of Lieutenant/Surface Warfare, and he and Pat have three children, Patricia, Stan junior, and Jen nifer, who were with him in Virginia Beach, San Diego, Long Beach (where the Leahy was overhaul ed) and now at 206 Maffit Street, Middletown, R.I. The only Abbey alumnus Stan crossed paths with was Tony Pulcrano in San Diego in 1976, who at*' that time was a lieutenant (j.g.) serving in the medical corp. John Cahill is vice president-finance, for an Atlanta-based commercial finance company and lives in Marietta Ga. Gory Pietruszewski is with Ford Motor Co. and has been transferred to Detroit. Charles Guida has been named branch ad ministrator for Citicorp Person-to-Person Mortgage Corporation to supervise all operations and person nel for the office in Las Vegas, Nev., where he and his wife Doris and their son reside.
