Your hot'n'heavy RLA, Chris To: Craig Zdanowics^ If you asked me u/hat the meaning of "love" is I would reply "I do not know". But Craig, I do know that when I'm with you, I am hopelessly, helplessly, recklessly falling in love. Every moment I spend with you is what I've been waiting for all my life. Thanks for being such a great friend, advisor, and lover. I will remember you... will you remember me too... ? Eove, Alice To: Layton'Ashmore Happy Birthday... yeah yeah I know... *kiss* Love, B Chris Nichols: An SLI With a Heart the Size of an X-Box Chris Saunders In both my years of resi dential life at NCSSM, I have met many great people, both students and staff members. However, I dare say that I have met few as great as Chris Nichols, Fourth West's SLI of the last year and a half. More a friend than an SLI, Chris was always willing to have a conversation, play video games, or occasionally just break in-room with the guys on hall. However, he was also a great SLI, always ready to drive us places for hall trips and such. Chris is best remembered as someone who always looked at the bigger picture, and didn't care so much about the smaller details. Sure, nobody likes room inspec tions, but with Chris, we were able to live the way we want ed to; he realized that we had enough to do without keeping our shoes in straight lines in the closet and keeping our books aligned exactly squared with the comers of our desks. In Chris's eyes, I- Viz was enough incentive for people to keep their rooms clean, and we all appreciated it. Chris was also a man who never felt the need to be nasty about disciplinary processes. He had two rules for the guys on hall - nobody gets hurt, and nobody breaks anything. He Davis Bowen The beloved Chrts Nichols with his two RLAs Chris Saunders and Ben Jarrett. understood that boys will be boys and unless someone is in danger or committing a felony, a little fun isn't any thing to get mad about. Under Chris's leadership, 4W was a hall that ran on mutual respect, not fear of authority. And after a year and a half of living there. I'm convinced that that's the way it should be. As of late, Chris has taken a job in Baltimore, Maryland, in college admis sions. It's quite possible that in his absence. Fourth West and the rest of the Science and Math community will never be the same again. Farewell and good luck Chris Nichols, you will be missed.
