Bali Hai
Do-it-yourself
Mongolian cuisine. You
pick your ingredients
and sauce and they make
it for you. Really close
and a favorite of all
S&Mers.
For those newly acquainted with our
surroundings, here’s a little guide
to some of the local restaurants and
shops, to help get you off on the right
foot when attempting to eat, shop,
or have a life near the school.

Dale’s Indian Cuisine
A little expensive, but
the food is good and it’s
the only Indian place
close enough to walk to.

Broad Street
The Palace International
Another slightly
misnamed restaurant, the
Kenyan food featured
here is exotic but not
threatening.
Broad Street Cafe
The closest coffee
shop to campus. Comfy
couches, games, live
music, and of course
coffee.
Joe Van Gogh
Another coffee shop a
few doors down. There
is much debate over who
has better joe (broad
street or joe van gogh),
so you’ll have to try
them both and pick for
yourself.
