PAGE TWO THE LEXHIPEP NOVEMBER 15. 1924 LEXINGTON III CAFETERIA. Why do you see so many people coming up from the domestic science lunch room with happy smiles on their faces? Because they have just eaten a good dinner, prepared by the girls of Miss Ware’s classes. Al most any time between twelve o’clock and twelve forty-five you can hear the delightful music of the soup song from this direction. For several years the need of a High School lunch room has been felt. Especially since L- H. S. was tnade a consolidated school and so many people come too far to go home for lunch. This year Miss Ware and the girls of her classes have decided to try it out. The food is well prepared and cheaper than can be bought else where. To make this plan a success every one will have to give their support. You students who usually go home to lunch, why not try eating in the Cafeteria once in a while. Perhaps after awhile it can be put on a larger scale and a greater variety of goods can be served. Every day in the lunch room, soup, sandwiches, candy, peanuts, milk and desserts are sold. Come on, everybody; do your part. If there is one thing that Democrats, Republicans, teachers, students, fool ish and wise agree upon, it is that everybody likes to eat.
