Greetings from Robbins School to All our Readers Congratulations to Hallie Huffman in Grade 511, for winning the 50c Ijrize, in naming Robbins School Page in the Lexhipep. Eighty-three names were presented. Prom these names, the judges thought “Robbins Record’’ the best. Hallowe’en Nickelodium Hallowe’en Night found Robbins School all a-glow with fun and merri ment. The auditorium, artistically decorated, was where over six hun dred ghosts, witches, and others gathered for fishing, games, fortune telling and other Hallowe’en sports. One hundred and forty boys and girls, in costume, paraded and sang. The judges awarded Made Watson the $2.50 prize for best costume. Prom the $85.00 receipts, $56.95 was cleared. This amount is going to be used for Robbins School equip ment. Organize Ijitcrary Society The two seventh grades have re cently organized a Literary Society, known as Burgmann Literary Society. The Committee for naming the So ciety composed of Fannie Porter Cowles, Chairman, Elizabeth Russell, Kathryn Eanes and Thompson Lowe honored the Society, by naming it for their two teachers; Miss Burg(iss) and Miss Mann. The.officers elect ed were President, Thompson Lowe; Vice-President, Virginia McCrary; Secretary-Treasurer, Laura Mae Young.
