A group of the high school boys belonging to Troop 1 are planning a hike to Chandler’s Pond for the Thanksgiving holidays. It is expect ed that ttie hike will not only be en joyable. but also instructive in scouting and all Scouts who go are urged to take along their handbooks and all other Scout equipment in their possession, so that no Scout will be kept from i>assing tests, becau.se of the lack of the necessary material. On account of the holiday the hike will be longer than the usual week end hike and therefore the Scouts who are planning expect it to be a real worth-while hike.
