PAGE TWO THE JtJNIORS AND THE SENIORS (Senior View) For the past several months there has been much rivalry between the Junior and Senior classes. We, the members of the Senior class can hard ly see how the class of *26 can even be compared with the present class of ’25. In debating, athletics and in schoiarship, the Senior class far ex cels the lower classmen. If my beloved juniors will go to the office of the Superintendent and ask to see the scholarship cup,, they will see the “Class of ’25” engraved upon it twice. This is a remarkable record, for the cup is only three years old. There is little doubt also that the Seniors will repeat that honor this year. - In boys athletics the Juniors had only two varsity men on the foot-ball team, while the Seniors had eight men who started in practically every game. I will admit the Juniors and Sophos have most of the basket-ball team, but who will deny that at least three, four or possibly five, men of the senior class could win position on the team if they wouid only put forth enough effort. In the other minor sport known as tennis, the present Senior class has always supplied the material. On the girls team, there are four members of our class who star in every game, and they are the back-bone of the team. The class of ’25 has furnished for the second straight year the captain of the squad. In debating last year our class fur nished three of the four debaters and this year no doubt they will furnish all. Gaze upon the staff of this paper. Who is the Business manager? What class is he from, and where do two of his three assistants answer the roll call? The editor-in-chief and most of the editors will graduate this year. At the present time the out-look is very gloomy for the next year, with such a class for Seniors, and with the loss of such a class as will gruaduate this year. I thank you!
