September, 1974 UNITED FUND DRIVE IN EARLY OCTOBER “You are making it work” is the United Fund campaign slogan chosen by Andy Brown (Henderson County) and Les Good win (Transylvania County) Brevard Plant co-chairmen for the 1975 UF Drive. This year’s plant goal is $28,000, up from the $24,500 target last year due to more employees on plant roll and increas es in county budgets. Fifty-four area solicitors will conduct the plant campaign following the kickoff breakfast on October 1. Each employee will receive a folder showing the many agencies in each county benefited by contributions. The front of this folder best shows the way you help. Several workers in many walks of life are pictured with looks of compassion tow ard a needy family. Your United Fund pledge helps meet needs of local agencies dedicated to serv ing health, welfare, and recreation on a continuing as well as emergency basis. As a guide to giving, one hour’s pay per month is considered a fair share pledge. r 'V/’OU /?afss A T~»r* % » i .-f /AKL-imMhVa U 7 \ Mj; ff7l‘ Linda McCants Sherry Fisher Solicitors Les Goodwin Andy Brown Chairmen DU PONT CO.
