Forty five Grimsley ROTC
students left Monday April 18th
for Quantico, Virginia where they
were to go through one week as
an actual Marine.
Alter their stay in Quantico
they left for one day in
Washington, where they watched
the 8th I drill team. Last year
ROTC went to Parris Island.
The GHS Symphony Band went
on a trip to Canada during the
week of April 20 and stayed in the
homes of Beamsville Ontario high
school students.
Band members attended school
with the students they stayed
with and played a concert for
these students, their families,
and friends as the climax of their
trip.
The Canadian Band is to come
to Greensboro on May f at which
time they will play a concert at
Grimsley.
The book fair this year will be
held from April 26-29 in room 409
in the old science building for all
students and teachers who are
interested.
