November 30,2011 opinion 3 Speak Out! What animal represents you and your personality? ■IPi ■ 1 "I think I'm a koala because I'm very laid back and independent. I do wbat I have to in order to make it in life." - Erica Richardson, sophomore mm "The animal that explains me is a monkey because I like being funny, and I'm a lot of fun." -Daijah Goodman, sophomore "I am a Siberian White Tiger because there aren't many like me, and I stick out from the rest of the pack." - Jesse Hoggard, senior m ■i "The animal that represents my personality is a monkey. It is wild and crazy but also has characteristics like a human - it can be loving and encouraging and likes to talk a lot!" - Caroline Thomas, freshman r I' 1 "I would say a dolphin represents me and my personality. Dolphins are usually very energetic and playful. I think I am, too. I'm always running around playing sports or doing other things." - Anne Prendergast, sophomore "A koala. It's my favorite animal, and it's humble. I don't know much about them; it looks cute and little on the outside, but its skills are fierce and it's still considered a wild animal." -Jerrya Harris, senior "I'm like a dog. I can be stubborn at times, but I am very helpful and overprotective of the ones I care about and love. I can also be a little selfish, but for good causes. In all, I am a good person and truly care for others." - Seanella Isaacs, senior "I would say I'm like a penguin. It is small and cute and kind of dances to its own beat. It is not like other birds; it can't fly and doesn't even live in a similar habitat, but it does just fine the way it does things. Penguins are fun and original, and I like to believe I'm the same way." - Nia Twyman, junior "I think I am a lion because I can be very protective, and I can be nice when I want to be. I have a lot of fur or hair on my head. I can be very loud. I am a memorable person." -Jamira Mapp, sophomore "My spirit animal is an ostrich because I love the wild and can move pretty fast. I also cook amazing eggs!" - Isiah Trundy, junior "Our spirit animals would be unicorns. Unicorns can't fly, but they have magical horns that shoot out magical fun and rainbows!" -Emily Edmonds and Jordan Johnson, j uniors High Life Staff welcomes comments in the form of letters to the editor from students, faculty, and the public.
