Mrs. Gray grew up with a very independent na ture, often keeping to herself. She was single for six years be fore meeting her soul mate. What most impressed her was how comfortable she felt in his company because she felt like she could let her guard down. At one point in time, they ex perienced a rough patch in their relationship. She surprisingly went running to her mother crying about Gary. "Mom told me, 'Wow, you really like this guy!' 1 am not a cry baby when it comes to stuff like that, but this was weird. It really scared me!" said Gray. After some wise words from her mother, Beth knew Gary was the one for her. Beautiful baby Lexie Claire Velazquez was bom on January 3, 2012, at 2:08 am. "Lexie was originally due on January 10, which is my husband's birthday, so 1 told him that 1 already had his present figured out. As usual, he wanted his birthday present early, so 1 guess Lexie thought that was a great idea, too!" said Velasquez. Noah's Ark provides the theme of Lexie's yellow nursery. As a child herself, Velazquez enjoyed when her parents read to her each night, so she plans to carry out that tradition with Lexie even if she is only two months old right now. IB Coordinator, Christina Adams, sporadically took off work one afternoon on October 27, 2011 and visited City Hall in Greensboro, where she hap pily became Mrs. Christina Purgason. The couple found out at the end of July, 2011 when the doctor gave her the confirmation that baby number two is on his way. Zoo animals will provide the theme as they decorate the nursery. Both she and her hus band willraise their second child as they have their first, which resembles how their parents raised them. "In general, when parenting, don't always listen to everyone else's opinions on how a child should be raised. Every child and family is different, and therefore you need to figure out what works for you and your family. Do whaf is best for your own child's well-being. Our par ents used that with us, and it has worked well so far with our two year old as well," said Green-Stimpson.
