So it is very important for a people to have knowledge of self because everything is relative to self. Guan Muhammad Because black history is a part of my her itage, I use black his tory as a role model and example for my life. The struggles and achievements made in history by many African Americans opened many doors and opportunities for my life. Kendra Davis Black history and God are the two most important things in my life. I am in col lege now to increase my knowledge of black history and in other areas of educa tion. I want to be a strong black woman to be a role model for all the youngsters growing up today. With God and knowl edge of our heritage we can increase our strength and change the world.
