The A6 Phoenix' December 2002 Page 31 6^ ofum by Sartia Stover Focusing on Success? Try this— This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do accord ing to all that is written therein; for the thou shalt make thy way prosper ous and then thou shalt have Good Success” Quoted from one of the greatest works.of literature, the Holy Bible. Surge of Success welcomes you back. Reflections of “what was”, will always be a part of the human experience. Living “now” will always be a part of the human challenge and Projection will always be a part of the human hopes and dreams. There is within our realm of time a past, a present and a future. We operate our daily lives based on the different dispensations of time. Time is a most precious gift. In looking at the essence of time, it is important that there is a sequence for success. Aithough, we hear people say, “it happened over night”, research reveals that it really did not. Most success stories have been proven that lots of work took place before the world had a chance to see-the outcome. In the lives of successful people, there are stores of the ups and downs of climbing the ladder of success. Some of the ups and downs occurred as early as childhood. Reflections of “what was” brings it to pass. Sometimes parents recall childhood experiences of their children, which reveals some of the prices for success, it does not come easy, and it is not a fly-by-night. Realistically, itJs a process of time and what occurs at the appointed time of the Lord. The Bible often refers to the “appointed time of the Lord”, which is to say the predestined ordained time of destiny, in the book of Jeremiah, it gives the illustration of God as the Potter and man as the clay. When the clay is in the hand of the Potter, it goes through lots of changes before the vessel is perfected. Even if the time of work for the Potter to complete a vessel is only ten to twelve days, there was still a process that had to be completed. God’s timing is never ours until we turn our lives complete ly over to him. When we accept that we are his, and we trust him, then we can patiently wait for the “appointed time”. Surging into Success comes with a total trust and dependency on God. He know all about each of us, and he will bring it to pass according to the appointment with destiny that you have. Don’t be discouraged if things don’t seem to be working as quickly in our estimation of time— just remember as you continuously work, keep the faith, and wait for your appointment, it wili come. Look up, as you Surge into Success. With Warm Regards May peace and joy bum brirfhtly throughout your heart and home this holiday season. There is a starry sky above your heads, and you children are the Rose Garden of the Earth. Your Blossoms are Beautiful and your scented Fragrance is the sweetest that has ever been. To your mothers, you are darling angels. And to the world, you are the only hope for a new generation You are living in a world of many different roads Leading to nowhere in every direction, I want you children to know there is a big crowded road. Some of everybody can travei. Turn around, look up, the stars are still shining. God will give you one of those stars for a traveling light. He will direct your feet to the straight and narrow path that leadeth home. It is not the fast runner or the swift runner. But the race is won with Prayer, Faith, Patience, Hope, and Charity. That is steady running. It will keep you watching that bright and morning star. It is the same star that led the wise men to Jesus on the Glorious Christmas Day.
