The AC Phoenix December 2002 Page 61 THE BEGINNING OF THE CHARISMATIC MOVEMENT IN THE TRIAD Continued from Page 51 sixteen-year-old. The words, pioneer, impact, and legacy are not simple words, but they explicitly describe the life of the late Bishop R. K. Hash, Sr. and Mother Mildred Hash. It may not ever be known just how much, but because of the firm stand of righteousness, breaking up old traditions, consistently bringing in Word based teach ing, leadership development speakers and more, they have impacted churches and leaders throughout the entire Triad. As a result, churches are not operating the way they did over fifteen years ago. Now almost every church has praise teams instead of having the deacons to lead devotions. Churches all across the Triad are now hav ing conferences, workshops, and seminars to train and develop their members and leaders. Their music and order of services have changed to meet the needs of this changing generation. The 21st century generation of worshippers has demanded more than rituals and traditions. They want real relationship with their creator and real answers to real everyday challenges in their lives. The Legacy Lives On - Did the vision of the late Bishop R. K. Hash cease when he expired this life and passed on to heaven? Absolutely not! His legacy lives on through his natural and spiritual sons and daughters who are pastoring growing churches and ministries throughout the country. In the year 2000, The Church Growth Coalition was founded by his daughter, Min. Francene Hash, who traveled every where with her parents and sat in many board meetings with great leaders along side her mom and dad. Francene shares her life experience as a Church Administrator and Conference Coordinator through conducting seminars, workshops, and consultation on church management and operations. The Church Growth Coalition is an organization that empowers churches and leaders throughout the world to grow by providing services in church and/or conference management, consultation, leadership training, and specialized volunteer workshops based on 21 st century busi ness and ministry principles. The Church Growth Coalition’s ultimate aim is to reestablish the R. K. and Mildred Hash Scholarship Foundation so that deserving young men and women may pursue their education in Biblical and Pastoral Studies.
