Michael Williams “A Fruitful Year in Review and Preview” In less than three “short years from the founding date (August 12,2001),” not only have we as a Body of Believers accomplished much of what God set out to do through The Messiah’s House, but also in so many respects, we have far exceeded our expectations through Miracles and Blessings from the Lord. For those of you who are just being introduced to us, you may ask, “What is the Mission (Missio Dei) of The Messiah’s House and this Body of Believers? That answer is made clear by observing the manner in which the Prophet Isaiah prophesied the Coming of the Messiah. The prophet proclaimed in 61:1 -11 that there will come a day when The Messiah (the Anointed) will come, and in that day the children of God will be healed and delivered from the bondage of satanic forces and personal sins; their lives will be rebuilt upon the foundation of God’s word alone; peace, prosperity, and justice will prevail, and God will make all things new. Today, I am blessed in joining the prophet Isaiah in proclaiming that day has arrived in Winston-Salem and the Piedmont Triad areas through the Messiah’s House. Study in prayer OUR MISSION according to Isaiah 61:1-5, and you will be able to testify to the fulfillment of His word through This House. We can say with a firm heart of faith that “The Spirit of the Lord is upon us; the blind is receiving sight and insight, the lame is now walking by faith and not by sight, many are being cleanse from their sins; the dead in Christ are now rising to try and live through Him; the poor in spirit are becoming rich in hope; the Lord is King and Chief Executive of all things within this body, and the city is now ready to be rebuilt/revitalized through Godly leadership in the unity of the Holy Spirit.” Surely our year’s review has been fruitful and bountiful. Yet, God is now saying to us as he once said to the prophet: “do not remember the former things of old. Behold, I am during a new thing, now it shall spring forth;” (Isaiah 43:18-19a). Even the Apostle Paul joins the Prophet Isaiah when he too admonishes us to “forget those things which are behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead; press toward the mark of the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians3:13-14). For our Father and God has now positioned The Messiah’s House Body of Believers, and especially you, to receive an anointing Spirit so that you may participate as a witness and believer who can lead by example and precept other relatives and acquaintances to God through Christ The Messiah. How can this be???? Allow me to first express a personal desire of mine at this stage of my ministry and life? It is my heart’s desire and prayer to God that people of every defeated experience in life have an opportunity to be saved from the clutches of hell and to prosper in all things through the will of our Father. As you are becoming more aware in your personal faith journey, that “God is able to do exceedingly ’4 'te/ Pastor Artis H.
