Page 6 December 2004 The AC Phoenix WOMEN RISK TAKERS Continued from Page 1 become a part of your DNA. We are also told in James 1:21 that the “engrafted word of God is capable of saving our souls.” Our soul hous es our mind, our will, our emotions, our intellect, our choices, our behav ior, our desires and ambitions. I call it the choice center, the headquar ters for our destiny and direction for life. So then this area of our triune component must be completely saturated, transformed and renewed according to the original precepts of God. Our thoughts must become His thoughts, our desires must become His desires, and our ways must become His ways, and our ambitions his ultimate plans for life. The Word of God also chastens us and cleanses us. The Word wash es us; we are governed, instituted and guided by the word of God (Eph. 5:26). His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths (Ps. 119:105). My aim in Women Risk Takers is to have the true life stories of Biblical women in a slightly allegorical form of writing to make their lives come alive and allow them to teach us how they handled the same issues of life that we face today. From the deepest depth of my heart, I long to help women face issues such as: • “Baby mama” drama • “My babies’ daddy” drama • Rejection, • Self esteem • My husband is trippin’ drama!!! Many women struggle with how to submit to a man who is not serv ing God may ask,Val, this sentence needs to be re-wording “Why should I obey when he is the one who is wrong all the time? Do 1 not say ‘I told you so’ when he keeps doing stupid things?” The mystery of Godly women is the ability to esteem her man when he least deserves it and build her house with her words. Her words can build him up or tear him down (Prov. 14:1). She is the one that is anoint ed to make him look good in the gates of the city. It is in no way intend ed to be an easy task for women to submit... but it is attainable. In Women Risk Takers, 1 unfold the paradox and the enigma of king dom submission, which is very cryptic or coded. True liberation comes only through submission. You must get the book to discover the mys tery. One of the greatest discoveries I marveled was when I found in scriptures the persons God used to introduce the concept of submission We hope the message of love and the true spirit of the season makes its way into each heart in every iand. Women have more power than they could ever know, however we have been deceived into believing that we must search for what has never been lost, compete for what we already possess, or struggle for what is freely given. All proceeds from Women Risk Takers are donated to our foreign mis sions project Sister to Sister. We are able to do so much more united; but we must first overcome our own insecurities and baggage. When we finally discover who we are in Christ we are then able to easily celebrate and honor the beauty of Christ in our other sisters. There is no room for jealously in the Kingdom because each woman uniquely possesses what no other woman will ever have... the creative ability of God mak ing us UNIQUE. No one else can be YOU better than YOU! You can never be anyone else better than you can be yourself. This is one of the most powerful attributes of becoming a Women Risk Taker. No one can ever venture out to do what you have been called to do with the same grace, ability, and anointing that you possess. Christ in you the Hope of Glory enables you to do all things through the Anointed One who daily empowers you to overcome every obstacle in life. “Proad to SwrwYoa*’ Bus Stop Itolier SIk^ umI Hw %iist Have Happy Holiday We Have Openings for • Barbers • Beauticians • Braiders • Seamstress Owmern/bameer 13t2 E. «i SiRct • IK: (330722-19^ Unwii * fitfldjiUMr SIhvcs OeiUmWetf * VEPHRI lONNHIy This Holiday Season why not honor a special woman in your life?
