The group is from Greensboro, Gary Hastings is the leader of the group. He is a graduate of Carver, East Forsyth High Schools and East Carolina University. He is a retired Assistant Chief of Police (Greensboro, NC). Gary has written three books (a police textbook and two novels). The group has performed in cities around the country and abroad. They have recorded a CD, entitled "For God and Country," The concert will include much of the music from that CD. The concert is open to the public, FREE, however there will be a love offering lifted during the intermission. To become a sponsor, contributor or patron, please call committee chairman Rudolph V. Cuthbertson Memorial Visual Arts Exhibit The African American Atelier will present, "The Alberta W. Cuthbertson Visual and Performing Arts Program, featuring Guilford County Minority High School Students" which will open for viewing at the African American Ateiier (Greenboro Cultural Arts Center - 200 N. Davie Street, Greensboro, NC) on Sunday, May 18- Friday, June 13, 2014. The exhibition is sponsored by the Greensboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc,, and is in its 27th year of existence within Guilford County. Several students from a number of Guilford County schools will have their works showcased inside of the African American Atelier during the exhibition period. 2014 Graduates Congratulations!
