March 24, 1937 That Man Again Girls, this is that Identification Bureau man back again. Having made slides from the pictures I took of you, I am now prepared to give a lecture on each one. Of course, I know what each girl is like. Just to prove it^ here are a few samples. We’ll start off with that sleepy- eved girl from the deep South, Miss Martha Stoner. I understand that she doesn’t make wonderful grades in scholarship, but boy! her talkative nature gets her there anyway. She is very unatheletic and abhors the idea of dirtying her hands in any kind of a game. Being the langorous type she loves to sit and dream the hours away. Fruehauf Trailer Co. 820 South Mint Street Charlotte’s Newest Millinery On the Square Felts and Straws, special through Easter for . . $1.00 Other prices. . $1.98, $2.98 The Capital Millinery Next is that up and coming at you young lady with the animated per sonality. Yes, you’re right, it’s Miss Catlierine Marshall. Her coal black liair and her snappy brown eyes help make her a belle, if I ever saw one, and I reckon I’ve seen ten. Then I took one group picture. Tlie girls were too embarrassed to be photograplied separately. Heading the group are Miss Ashley Dulin, Miss Pidge Laffitte, Miss Kathleen Waggoner, Miss Frances Stough, and Miss Sara Kelly Lillard. This group is a class which is studying “How to Develop My Personality,” and “How to Hold a Man if I Ever Get One.” All of these shy, shrinking violets are timid creatures who rarely say any thing. I want to give special recognition to that flirting Miss Marguerite Buf- fam. She took me out to lunch one day and really before I finished eat ing I was sure it was still leap year. And drive!—I feared for my life when we tore along at seventy miles an hour, but when the speedometer registered one hundred and fifty, I knew I was an angel already.
