I- .y'9 j''. New View Book Is Presented This year, Queens has decided to send a “brand new” view hook to all prospective students instead of the usual folder containing old pic tures of the school. This view hook was created hy student and faculty committees which included Henrietta Mclver, Judith Killian, and Mildred Thomas, who planned the writing of it; Lib Hrammer, who helped })lan the form in which it was written; Eugenia Nen, who, assisted hy Mary Payne and Lih (Ireene, had charge of the snapshots. Miss Connie Burwell headed the faculty committee which included Dr. Howe, who had charge of taking many of the pictures; Miss 1 illett, who corrected the grammar; Dr. God ard, who put it in the correct form; and Dr. Blakely, who supervised the whole project and put his approva on it. 'Hie new view book was pub lished hy the Charlotte Observer Printing House. An idea of the contents is this It begins with a letter to the new students from the president of the student body; next, comes a tour of the campus with Burwell Hall as the center. Included in this tour are pictures of the different offices, the library, the “Y” store, the science juilding, the chemistry lab, the bi ology lab, the art lab, the music building, the exterior of Morrison dormitory, the auditorium, the dining lall with students seated at a meal, the dining room at the practice house with Mrs. Booker and the home economics girls, back campus with the day student building, the sorority louses, and the hut. Other featured snajishots are of May Day, Stunt Night, Christmas choral program, some of Miss Robin son’s pupils, and some of Miss Whar- ;on’s pupils. Also included in the view hook are some of the many things which Charlotte has to offer o the students of Queens. We should feel proud of our col ege and all those who have worked :o make this a well-organized view JUST A SPLATTER (Continued from pnge five) . . . gosh, we feel like marching into March . . .
