■ Page Six John Amos Bail began his work at Caroinount in 1943 when he was employed in the Dyehouse. Later he was transfered to the Warj)ing Department and then to the Weaveshed where he is pres ently employed. Mr. Bail was born in 1882 in Pitt County. He Avas reared on the farm and lived there until he Avas 27 years of age. He then be gan doing carpentry Avork and tollowed that trade for about 35 years until he came to Avork at Caroinount. In 1914 he was married to Mary E. Taylor of Pitt County. They have four children, tAVo boys and tAvo girls. One daugh ter, Marjorie Bail Bavis is noAV employed as a weaver in the Caro- mount plant. Mr. Bail has ahvays been an ac tive gardener but for the past year he curtailed his gardening some because of poor health. He still plants a small garden, hoAV- ever. Mr. Bail is active in the Junior Order, and the Sons and Daugh ters of Liberty. At one time he represented the Junior Order at the State Council. Mr. Bail attends the First Christian Church and has been janitor there for the past 30 years. Mr. and Mrs. Bail oAvn their home at 432 Cokey Road. Your Son Is Invited Employees’ sons and their friends’ sons of Scouting age, 11 to 18 years, are invited to see Scoutmaster Neverson Lewis and join the Scouting Game as play ed by Troop 113, sponsored by the Caromount Athletic Associa tion.
