First of all he showed us two pictures, one called “Bacteria —Good and Bad” and the other “Keeping Well.” He asked us questions on the pictures. Before leaving he told us a story about a little girl and boy whose mother wanted them to catch the mumps. She carried them over to see Little Johnny who had the mumps. In about two weeks they got sick but they didn’t have the mumps, they had diphtheria and soon didd. That teaches us'not to go to visit sick people unless said by a physician. Allen Mason thanked Mr. Fitts for the entire class. Malissia Fearrinton Class 6A the Amazon Valley which is in the great continent of South A- merica. Here the climate is very hot and dry which is so different from our home, America, at this particular time. This is a land of forest and thick jungles; bright colored birds and queer sleepy looking animals. We are having so much fun on this trip. In our health classes we are learning good health habits. If we want healthy bodies we must keep the whole body clean.
