PAGE FOUR THE LINCOLN ECHO 3A Dramat-ize St-ories in Class We have dramatized many stories in our class. These stories were taken frorh our reading les sons. The ones that we enjoyed most were, “Toy Fairy’s Party,” “The Three Little Hens,” and “Three Little Rabbits.” We plan to have a Christmas party in our room and exchange gifts. We are wishing all of you a Merry- Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hiealth Lectures Hteard By 9B In our Civics class the 9B is studying a unit concerning com munity evils. We were fortunate to have Mrs. Beryl Rogers and Mr. Howard Fitts from the health department to come and give the class talks on how to prevent one community evil—ill health. We were told by Mr. Fitts and Mrs. Rogers how germs can spread from a sick to a well person through close association, filth, water, food insects, and rats. We can heip wipe out the com munity evil, ill health, by screen ing our homes, draining away water, quarantining, cleanliness, and disposing sewage and gar bage in a sanitary way.
