The story is about a little girl who is about to have a sad Christmas because of her brother’s blindness and her fa ther’s absence. Many songs and dances will be featured. The Flute Band will also render se- iections at this time. Class Sfudies Geography This is our first year to study geography. It is so interesting and lots of fun, too, studying about people in other lands. We only regret that we did not have it in 2nd and 3rd grades. It is exciting to learn about people who live in hot, wet lands with houses built of grass, and leaves. It is fun to learn about people who live in dry lands with houses made of mud to keep out the heat and sun. Miss Boyd is going to let us make a movie to show how other people live.
