Page Four Four Student Teachers Begin Practice Here Four practice teachers, three from North Carolina College at Durham, North Carolina and from Shaw University at Ra leigh, North Carolina have been scheduled to do work here. Mr. E. J. Cumming, Miss J. Jones, and Miss S. Nichols are of North Carolina College, and Miss R. H. Brewer comes from Shaw Uni versity. THE LINCOLN ECHO February, 195.3 a biology ma- of Richlands, He practices Mr Cummings jor, is a native North Carolina, under Mr. E. D. Lowery, general science, and Mrs. E. F. Robinson, Biology. Miss Jones, a commerce ma jor, practices under Mrs. M. G. Frazier in commerce and busi ness' arithmetic. Miss Jones’ home is in Durham. Miss Nichols is a physical edu cation major of North Carolina College. Her practice work is supervised by Mr. Kornegay in physical education and health. Her home town is Greenville, North Carolina. The practice work period for the North Carolina College stu dents began January 12, 1953 and will continue through March 4, 1953. Miss Brewer, a native of Cha pel Hill, is a home economics major at Shaw University. While here she practiced under Miss R. P. It was suggested that the members of the class set aside on day in the week for improving perso nal appearance. As a result, some of the seniors looked bet ter each day.
