In another case in which Beck with was charged with assault with a deadly weapon — a knife — on Edna Mae. the defendant was convicted of simple assault and was sentenced to 30 days on the ioads, suspended on payment of $15 and costs, good behavior, and •jn condition that he not interfere with Edna Mae in any manner.
