Nearly all the Posts of District Four were repre sented The meeting was held at the First Baptist Church, Chin quapin. Hodges of Baltimore, Md. officia ting. Rev Moya, a native of Lenior County was one of the leading min isters in the Free Will Baptist connection. At the time of his death he held pastorates at St. Jo seph F. W. B. Church in Wayne County; Jumping Run In Lenior County and St. Malilda in Greene County. The noted clergyman began his career in the ministry in 1918 and was at the time of his death vice moderator of The North Western Conference Division B of The Free Will Baptist Church. He was a member of Jumping Run F. W. B. Church for 46 years. The Reverend was also one of j Goldsboro's leading business men | Fm the past 20 years he operated | the Move Grocery Store in Golds boro ana was a resident of the city for 34 years. Aside from his religious affilia tions he was a member of the ma sociic. Night of Gidden and Odd Fellow Lodges and was a veteran ! of World War I. Funeral services were held Mon day, May 13 from Goldsboro Cha pel with members of the North west Conference and his pastor ates in charge of the services. Music was by a combined choir composed of members from SI. Joseph, .Tumping Run and St. Matilda churches. Solo by Mrs. Rosa Kornegay. Obituary by Mrs. Mattie Thompson. Eulogy by his friend and colleague, Rev. P. A. Hodges of Baltimore, Md. Special services were observed by the American Legion. The Ma ""nio.
