Ac tions speak louder than word?
when an automatic electric dish
washer cuts dishwashing time in j
j half and eliminates dishpan hands <
caused by scalding soapy water
Dishwashers which wash and
dry dishes to true cleanliness
give the housewife time to be a
lady of leisure. It enables her
to enjoy her family or take up
new hobbies such as gardening,
sewing or decorating. Extra
( hours gained also give her time
to do other household tasks.
) In a 30-day study bv Ohio State
University com pat ing dishwash
ing habits of women who < -d
dishwasher* versus those who dul
not,, it. was discovered that;
1. The bacterial count, on plates i
and other utensils were signi
ficantly lower for those washed
by dishwasher then Utoso -
washed by band. Women who
own and use dishwashers he.
b; ve tills helps cut down colds j
and Infections and, of course, j
i doctor bide.
2. The test alno revealed that
dishwashing time was cut ap-*- ,
proximately in half The aver
age woman spends more than
■ eight horns a week clearing-up
and washing dishes. A savings
! of four hours a week means i
she feels less tiled, and t: able .
lo enjoy herself more
3. Another impoitant feature in |
tii e decrease in breakage, i
Breakage of dishes during the’ j
hand-washing teat amounted
to approximately XI pieces
with a dishwasher this was ;
virtually eliminated.
' j Today, Mrs. America can he a
