Thomas, !of Cincinnati, two Negro young women from Ohio, are among the 35 young men and women who will go overseas next Fail as spec ial term missionaries of the Meth odist Church. They will serve three years each. Miss Greene will go to the Bel gian Congo for religious educa tional work and Miss Thomas to Angola, Africa for educational work. In preparation for mission ary service the group began June 'f3 a six-week orientation program at Scarvitt College for Christian Workers, Nashville, Tenn. The training, designed to introduce the young persons to the missionary vocation, teaches the fundamentals of Christian theology, and in forms them about the parts of the world to which they will go.
